With 25 years of experience, Branch Manager Michael Picore is your go-to mortgage originator in Glenwood Springs, Colorado. Michael started his career in the commercial space before moving to manage a local mortgage branch. Both experiences catapulted him into his current position as a Branch manager for Rate Mortgage. He has been named a Top 1% Lender in the United States for 8 consecutive years by National Mortgage News & Mortgage Executive Magazine, and is actively involved in local schools, youth sports, and community with his team. Not only has Michael been named a Local's Choice Lender by the Glenwood Springs Post Independent Newspaper while at Rate, he has also been named 2014 Glenwood Springs Board of Realtors Affiliate of the Year by the Chamber of Commerce and Business of the year in 2017, Glenwood Springs Citizen of the Year 2021, and is currently the 7th Grade and Roaring Fork Basketball 7 Boys basketball coach and the Mountain West Football 5th/6th coach. He was also just inducted into the Washakie County School District #1 Hall of Fame in 2025. Additionally, he is the Founder and Board Member of the Glenwood Springs Education Foundation, Founder and Board member of the Hoop d'Ville Sports Foundation, Founder and Board Member of Roaring Fork Basketball, Board Member and coach for Mountain West Football, Glenwood Springs Chamber of Commerce Board Member, Founder of Glenwood Springs Restaurant Takeovers-helping raise thousands of dollars for local non-profits, and soon to be a Rotarian His hobbies include playing basketball, golf, coaching youth football and basketball, improving and enhancing his community and traveling with his family and friends.
