Rate Named a Top Job Creator By Inc. Magazine

Yesterday, Inc. magazine recognized Rate as a top 100 private job creator, ranking No. 32, on the influential publication’s inaugural Hire Power Awards list. The Hire Power list measures the number of jobs created from 2008 through 2011 and, during the four-year span, Rate has added 549 employees to its roster, with many working in its Chicago offices.

Unprecedented by any business standard, Rate has been profitable every quarter since its inception in 2000. Today, Rate employs more than 2350 with 1228 working in Illinois and 918 working within the Chicago city limits. The company is on track to more than double its mortgage loan funding year over year from $7 billion in 2011 to more than $14 billion in 2012.
