James Cordes is an experienced professional in the mortgage financing world. While he specializes in high-net-worth borrowers and complex income, James is also highly skilled in navigating the nuances of Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, and government loans. In 2024, James was named to the President's Circle and named as a Top Originator by the Scotsman Guide. Prior to entering the mortgage industry, he spent a decade as an English teacher, enriching lives with the power of language. His previous career collides with his current career in the fact that he loves working with first time home buyers as well, as the education of the new process is something he never tires of. James holds a Master's degree from Boston College and an undergraduate degree from the University of Redlands. Outside of work, he enjoys spending quality time with his wife, his son, and his daughter, embracing the outdoor lifestyle of Central Oregon. Originally from Sun Valley, ID, James carries a deep love for the mountains and outdoors, along with America's pastime, baseball.
