About Hugh Van Horn
I have been in the mortgage business for over 24 years. I pride myself on being able to put together deals in creative ways to get clients the right mortgage for them. I grew up in Southwest Riverside County and have lived in the Coachella Valley since 2006. I am involved in the community, currently serve as a Board Member for the Greater Coachella Valley Chamber of Commerce, House Manager for El Paseo Fashion Week, and as a District Advisory Commissioner for Riverside County Parks and Open Spaces. I have served as Vice President for California Association of Mortgage Brokers Inland Empire Chapter, was on the family selection committee for Habitat for Humanity, volunteered for the Indian Wells Speaker Series, have been on the boards of; opera arts, The Children's Discovery Museum, Indio Performing Arts Center, was one of the co-chairs for the Temecula Valley Balloon and Wine Festival, was named one of Palm Springs 40 under 40 in the October 2010 issue of Palm Springs Life Magazine, in 2011 I graduated from Leadership Coachella Valley and in 2024 I received an Mini executive MBA in Entrepreneurship from Cal State San Bernardino. Prior to my mortgage career I performed in various theaters and theme parks around Southern California. I was mainly a tap dancer, one of the few real tap dancing loan officers you will ever meet, and I am still passionate about the arts. Today I spend a lot of time watching my two daughter play collegiate soccer, and spending time with my 16 year old son who lives with me full time. Family is one of the most important things to me.
